Andrew (Cooky) Cook




Cooky is a co-founder and director of the Circosis Circus Company. Having grown up on communities in Central Australia he recognises the need for positive activities for youth on communities. With extensive teaching and performing experience he is taking Circus to the world. Having trained with and alongside Lunar Circus, Blackrobats, Westside Circus and Cirkidz, he specialises in juggling, acro-balance and hand balancing.




Sarah Mason

Sarah is a co-founder and director of Circosis Circus Company. She has worked and lived on Communities in the N.T. for the past 11 years where she has been involved in Community and Youth Arts. She has been trained by circus artists from Circus Oz, CirKidz, Lunar Circus and Westside Circus, as well as being part of the NICA Social Circus Program. Locally she has worked with Tangentyere Circus and Circus Us. Her hilarious alter-ego "Sarita Hoopla" has toured internationally to New Zealand and South America. She has also made appearances on Imparja and ABC TV.

Rui
Hannington-Pinto


Rui's talent was discovered when he was only 15, and a couple of years later he ran away to join the circus. Since then his skills have increased quickly to become one of the best unicyclists in the Territory, with feats of unicycling around Uluru as well as mountain unicycling the cliffs of New Zealand. His skills have been noticed at the Tasmania Circus Festival and New Zealand Juggling Convention. His diverse range of circus skills is continually growing, and he is constantly striving for perfection in his art form.

Frances Martin


From a young age joining the circus was a childhood fantasy which Frances realised at the age of 19 and has pursued for the past 12 years. As a Performer and Circus Trainer she has worked with 'The Westside Circus' (Melbourne's inner west) between 1998 - 2004 facilitating circus workshops with a variety of community groups. She has also taught Circus workshops with Tangentyere Circus, Circus Us and Circosis with local and remote Indigenous youth. Frances' passion is a combination of Physical Theatre, Dance, Puppetry and Circus.

Eli
Cherry Clarke

"Eli Elbows" has been honing his circus skills since he was 9 months old. Now 5, Eli excels in his chosen fields of clowning, acro and hula hoop, he is also an avid juggler, balancer and tricycle rider. He has also taught Yamba the honey ant how to hula hoop. Eli draws his inspiration from Liza Minnelli in Cabaret, Miss Sarita, Mr Kiko, and the Cats Meow Cabaret, Alice Springs.

Tanya Langdon

Tanya Langdon was born to perform. At an early age she began training in gymnastics and dance, she then studied physical theatre with Is Theatre in Tasmania. Tan has toured and performed lead roles with Red Dust Theatre whose show "Barracking" received accolades at the 2007 Darwin Festival. Tan has taught and performed circus with Circus Us and Tangentyere Circus. She is currently working nationally for the Humour Foundation as a Clown Doctor and is teaching and performing in remote areas of Central Australia with Circosis.
